If you want more storage for games, or your hard drive is corrupted, then follow the steps below to replace your hard drive. You don't need any tools to replace your hard drive.
Step 1 Hard Drive
Orient your Xbox on the side where all the plugs are. Find the triangle-shaped release trigger.
Slide the trigger and pull off the cover.
Find the tab coming out of the hard drive.
Pull the tab, freeing the hard drive. Keep pulling to get the hard drive out.
Take your replacement hard drive and orient it so that it has the pull tab facing out.
Insert the new hard drive and push down until it clicks.
